About the Experience
No prior experience is necessary! Our classes are designed for complete beginners as well as sushi enthusiasts. Our expert instructors will guide you through every step of the process, from preparing the rice to creating beautiful nigiri and roll sushi.
Our regular classes typically last 2-3 hours. This includes learning about sushi history, hands-on instruction, making your sushi, and enjoying your creations. Private classes and special experiences may vary in duration.
Yes, children are welcome to participate. There are no specific age restrictions, but for younger children, we may ask for parental support. Families are very welcome!
Yes! We encourage you to take photos and videos to capture your experience. Feel free to share your creations on social media and tag us. We love seeing our guests' sushi making journey!

All our classes are conducted in English. Our instructors are fluent English speakers and specialize in teaching international visitors, making it easy for travelers from around the world to participate and learn.
The experience is primarily conducted in English, but Japanese language support is also available. If you prefer Japanese language support, please let us know when booking.

Just bring yourself and a sense of adventure! All ingredients, tools, and equipment are provided. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and arriving with an empty stomach so you can fully enjoy your handmade sushi creations.

Yes, group bookings are possible. For large group bookings, please contact us in advance. Special arrangements can be made.
You'll learn about sushi history and culture, how to prepare sushi rice, techniques for making roll sushi (maki-zushi) and authentic nigiri sushi, proper knife skills, and presentation techniques. You'll also get to enjoy your handmade creations!
Our regular classes can accommodate up to 90 people, making them perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, and large groups. Private classes can be customized to your group size.
We have locations in Tokyo Asakusa and Osaka Shinsaibashi. Both locations are easily accessible and located in popular tourist areas. Our Sushi Making on the SEA experience takes place in Amami Oshima.
